Our journey started in 1997 when we entered into the pet food business under the name of Qureshi Enterprises, initially as traders and later on represented some of the biggest manufacturers as their sole distributors. We were the pioneers in the pet food industry in Pakistan and introduced several brands into the local market and enjoyed the status of being the market leader in this industry. After establishing ourselves in the local market, we decided to explore international opportunities, which led to the advent of Abu Farees Trading LLC in UAE in 2010 and made our significant place in that highly competitive and aggressive market. Later on Abu Farees Trading expanded to Kazakistan in 2015 and Oman 2020 as we identified the growing potential of those markets. During this extensive course of our journey, we not only launched many famous products but also gave our input in market research and brand development. During this period we also got the chance to visit many pet food factories and attended all major pet food exhibitions and events around the world. Finally, we decided to utilize this extensive exposure and years of experience in the industry to start manufacturing of quality pet food in Pakistan, under the name of Pet King Global (Pvt.) Ltd. Previously, our market has been totally dependent on imports and there was a definite need for high quality pet food which could be available to the masses at affordable prices. We have established a modern state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility, which is first one of its kind in Pakistan. This initiative involved getting on board several experts; the initial layout and plant design is incorporated by French consultants, whereas the recipe formulation is from New Zealand. Foreign engineers have collaborated with us throughout all stages of construction and commissioning to ensure that our factory gets all the necessary certifications required to meet international standards. Pet King Global (Pvt.) Ltd, plans to produce superior quality pet food that caters to our market and is also exported to other countries. Our goal is constant improvement through Research & Development, to enhance sustainability and growth. We believe in environment conservation, therefore our processes are based upon the green movement, with minimum carbon imprint. We do not compromise on our core values and business ethics for short term gains. We recognize our social responsibilities and are already engaged with NGOs that work for animal welfare.
