About Pet King Global
Our journey started in 1997 when we entered into the pet food business under the name of Qureshi Enterprises, initially as traders and later on represented some of the biggest manufacturers as their sole distributors. We were not only the pioneers in the pet food industry but also enjoyed the status of being the market leaders for all those years in Pakistan.
After establishing ourselves in the local market, we decided to explore international opportunities, which led to the advent of Abu Farees Trading LLC in UAE in 2010, where we made our significant place in that highly competitive and aggressive market. Later on, Abu Farees Trading expanded to Kazakhstan in 2015 and Oman in 2020, as we identified potential for growth in those markets. We grew together with our suppliers/manufacturers and contributed to mutual success by giving timely inputs in market demand, changing trends and new formulations; which led to brand development. During this extensive course of our journey, we got the chance to visit some of the best pet food factories and attended all major pet exhibitions around the world.
Our market was totally dependent on imports and there was also a definite need for locally made high-quality pet food available at affordable prices. These factors were good enough for us to think beyond trading and distribution.
Finally, we decided to utilize this extensive exposure and years of experience in the industry to start pet food manufacturing in Pakistan, under the name of Pet King Global (Pvt.) Ltd. This initiative involved getting on board several experts; the initial feasibility and layout was designed by French consultants, whereas the recipe formulation was done by experts from New Zealand. Foreign engineers worked onsite throughout all stages of construction and commissioning to ensure that our factory gets all the necessary certifications required to meet the international standards. Now our state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing plant is fully operational, with all modern facilities that can easily be matched with the best in the world.
Pet King Global (Pvt.) Ltd, plans to produce superior quality pet food that should cater to the domestic demand and also be exported to other countries. We strive for constant improvement through Research & Development to enhance sustainability and growth. We believe in environmental conservation, therefore our processes are based on the green movement, with minimum carbon imprint. We do not compromise on our core values and business ethics for short-term gains. Recognizing our social responsibilities we are well engaged with NGOs that are working for animal welfare.
